ONYX Sports Physical Therapy

Alice Alberts, Professional Triathlete

“You won't find a more knowledgeable, dedicated, passionate and trustworthy PT than Kyle. I am a professional triathlete who specializes in long course racing. When I injured my hamstring leading into my first race of the season, I was devastated. Kyle is the reason I am now back to racing, pain free, and stronger than ever. He not only saw me for in-person sessions, but also created weekly rehab and strength programs, working closely with my triathlon coach to be sure it was aligned with my swim, bike and run training. I cannot recommend Kyle enough.”

We specialize in rehabbing injuries in professional, competitive, and recreational athletes of all ages.

Testimonials

  • “I have battled chronic back issues for years and have sought extensive treatment with up and down success. I have treated with Kyle for about 5 months, and I am so thankful that I found him. Kyle brings a unique skill set of physical therapy and sports training, which has finally gotten me on the right track. Perhaps even more significant, is his personality and caring approach to his craft. Kyle is an excellent listener who truly cares about his patients. He's a wonderful person, who I am very thankful to know. I highly recommend him!” - Mike

  • “I had meniscus surgery on my right knee on 5.12.21 and Kyle was instrumental in my recovery. He not only put together a great rehab program, but adapted the plan twice a month as I progressed through the quad strengthening routine he developed. Without his guidance, my 'return to normal' would have moved more slowly. I teach golf for a living, and I was able to navigate my busy lesson season (June 1 through October 15) without much loss of bookings. He is extremely knowledgeable about the human body, how it performs, and what is needed for YOUR particular injury and/or rehab. He listens to his client and responds to his/her concerns and questions accurately and with empathy. I could go on, but suffice it to say, I highly recommend Kyle as not only an excellent source of recovery, but as a person with honesty and integrity. You can trust his advice and council 100%”. - Danny Caverly, PGA Director of Instruction, Willowbend, Cape Cod

  • “I was recently recovering from shoulder surgery when I met Kyle. Don’t be fooled by his youth - he’s very knowledgeable and professional and helped me tremendously. He willingly and graciously treated me in conjunction with the physical therapist I was seeing near my home. He had excellent ideas on exercises I could do on my own and I always felt better after one of our treatment sessions. I would highly recommend Kyle for your physical therapy needs.” - Stephanie

  • “I struggled with pain for three years after mid back fractures at age 62 and had tried various treatments before going to Onyx. I knew immediately when I met Kyle that his approach would be different. He took the time carefully assess my situation and then to explain what was going on. Through manipulation, dry needling and a home exercise program, I am now back to running and doing the things I love pain-free. It has been truly remarkable. I am grateful to have a PT like Kyle who was willing to challenge me to push regain my life again!” - Maureen

  • “Kyle was amazing! I repeatedly pull my hamstring and quads and he worked with me for weeks to build up the strength in the parts of the muscles that get strained more often. My legs feel good as new! He is very smart and cares about seeing his clients get better! 10/10 would recommend him for any physical therapy needs!” - Maeve

They deeply understand the unique way the body moves and works when engaged in high level athletics - or just in everyday life. They quickly brought my son back from a baseball injury. As parents, we appreciated vast knowledge and experience in sports medicine and his positive and friendly attitude. We would highly recommend Kyle to friends and family.” - Alyssa

  • “I have been very impressed with ONYX’s return to play program. After my initial Post-Op PT services I was able to gain some function but my insurance ran out and I was not where I needed to be yet. I decided to take a chance with you and see if your treatment plan would allow me to return to tennis 100%. You were very deliberate in your methodology and timeframe for my return without misleading me. As a healthcare professional myself I appreciated your approach. The good results I am seeing is a direct result of your guidance and inspiration you give me. Thank you very much! Could not have done it without you and will always be grateful.” - Matthew

  • “My son is a competitive football player and recently hurt his back.
